We publish the very best articles and images from Australasian contributors. Engaging and informative, our stories are well-written, timely, original, and relevant to Australasian amateur astronomers.
The best way to establish whether your story would be suitable for publication is to send a 200-word synopsis — along with low-resolution versions of any images — to email@example.com. Also include a short 100-word bio on yourself and your experience. If the article is considered suitable, our staff will be in contact with you. Please allow several weeks for a reply.
Like all major magazines, Australian Sky & Telescope prefers unique content. Therefore we request that any articles you submit will not have appeared elsewhere, whether in print or electronic format.
We like to receive your astrophotos, the best of which will find their way into the Gallery pages of Australian Sky & Telescope magazine.
When emailing images, please send high-resolution files (JPG or TIFF) up to a limit of 10 MB per email, to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please provide full details of all images, eg. the photographer’s name; date, time and location taken; telescope and/or lens used; imaging equipment type and model; filters (if used); exposure or integration time; and any software processing employed.
